SOPHIE'S STORY
Before I founded Awaken with Sophie, 20 years ago, I was sitting in a 9-5 job that was draining my life force by the second. All that I wanted to do was help others wake up spiritually and show them how to get emotionally healthy and mentally balanced through the art of spiritual life coaching. But here I was, dying inside of an office with bright fluorescent lights stuck in a belief system that I needed to be at a “stable” job to pay my bills.
One Friday evening, when the week was over and I realized I still couldn’t smile even through a weekend, I made a bold decision. I decided in that very moment to give my two week notice and quit my job. The plan was to use my small savings to support my calling. I had left. I hustled and slowly I started to get back into alignment with my soul. I took a risk and began to build my spiritual business and work in my beloved field of spiritual life coaching.
Some of the sacrifices hurt more than others. I ate on a budget. I was on this uncomfortable tight budget and had not yet developed the tough skin it takes to be an entrepreneur. I experienced a lot of loss. I lost a lot of weight, I lost friends, and I lost stability; but what I eventually gained through it all was so worth it!
I learned the deeper healing techniques through my own journey of healing from a childhood marked by anxiety, depression, and bulimia. After transforming my own body, mind, and spirit, I now dedicate my life to helping others lift what is hurting so deeply and move into a more authentic life.
I work in a way that most people haven’t seen before. I don’t use my hands to heal or remove emotional and energetic suffering. Instead, I teach and guide individuals to locate their internal blocks at the root level, then show them how to remove those blocks themselves.
I serve from a space of truth, love, joy, and ancient wisdom, teaching others how to authentically walk into the new earth and embody the results of this healing work through various programs and healings.

I founded Awaken With Sophie in 2007 as a space devoted to deep spiritual healing, awakening, and soul-led leadership. I believe that inner spiritual healing leads to frequency reprogramming, which changes your life and then ripples through families, generations, and even global consciousness.
