Exposing the Illusion in Trendy Spirituality (So We Can Reclaim What’s Real)

Something is changing with Spirituality, a massive illusion is being exposed. I can feel it, can you? Somewhere along the way, we mistakenly applied traditional marketing dynamics to our spiritual evolution.

We started selling enlightenment and healing like a product on a shelf, with empty promises of a faster, cheaper, and easier process to accomplish freedom.

These promises of freedom with glossy results and feel-good affirmations that sparkle on the surface, but don’t actually touch the soul that left so many broken and unhealed, that their hearts started to close.

We wanted to believe that something inside of us could dissolve without the effort, that problems would magically go away that we fell for the packaged course, a $99 weekend certification to deliver results that only come from devotion, surrender, and embodiment.

The course would finish and the problem would return.

This is where we began to lose trust.

The hype of “buy now, get results fast” has started to shape a culture of spiritual bypassing.

A culture of supermarket spirituality where promises are made, but not delivered on.

WE'VE COLLECTIVELY LOST TRUST

We are starting to realize that real transformation doesn’t come from poetic words or perfect branding, it comes from the work that few want to market: the sacred, unpolished journey inward.

Many instead are using their own spirituality as a sanctuary for bypassed pain dressed in divine language. (This has been particularly inflamed in the past 12 months)

MY BELOVED SPIRITUALITY

I see spirituality as a sacred inner dwelling where we meet our deepest truth within, find and face our shadows, and learn to hold Divine light and carry unconditional love.

People have lost trust, not because they’ve lost faith in healing or God or anything like that, but because they’ve been sold too many versions of repackaging surface-level inspiration as a cover up for a teacher's own unhealed pain. You get into these courses with the promise of truth, transmutation of the shadows and it’s filled with hype and nothing is actually happening.

Change and truth are not being born. Why?

Because many have used spirituality as a coverup for their wounds and not a portal to actually transmute them.

I say this with compassion as someone who has helped birth the Spiritual Coaching Industry over the last 20 years.

I’ve watched how easy it is to confuse affirmations with embodiment, distraction with transmutation, and the understanding of 5D without vibrating inside of it. This seems to be the  Era of calling yourself a master before you’ve truly unlocked your own medicine.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Let’s break this down practically. I achieved 10k hours of documented 1:1 sessions. Let’s say I saw 30 clients a week.

That’s 120 hours a month, that’s 1,440 hours a year, at that rate that’s 7 years of devotion. (It took me about 10 to get there though because I didn’t always see 30 clients each and every week.)

I literally spent 10 years of sitting through other people’s wounding and this showed me the depth of the human experience. It showed me how healing unfolds slowly in its own timeline, how important integration is as new insights are released, and how much resistance we can hold towards carrying our souls truth.

Healing is not a race and ascension is actually better if it’s slower…

So I invite you to become part of the solution and ask yourself 3 questions:

1. Have I sat in, found and faced the depths of my wounding and blocks, and found the true embodiment of light?

2. Have I really transmuted the inception point of my deepest wound that makes me want to (be loved, gain approval, feel belonging, etc.)?

3. Is there a part of me still hiding behind the very light I preach?

These questions will help you authentically crack into the space I am talking into.

Now I want to shine a light on the other side of Spiritual Leadership.

There’s also another kind of teacher. The ones who have walked with God back from the edge of ending it all. The ones who’ve gone into the flame of their old wounds, transmuted the karmic fire of patterning and carried the truth back from their God point and into their present living body.

These are the spiritual teachers you can trust.

These are the spiritual leaders who know their scars tell a story that will shift your soul. These are the Spiritual trailblazers that are offering their energy as a transmission to enter a new consciousness. These are the Spiritual guides who are not afraid of the dark because they know the tricks, the landscape and how to navigate soul retrieval inside the dark. These are the Spiritual midwives who show you how to use your wounds as the entry point for where Divine light is born.

That’s the frequency I’m here for.

That’s the kind of healer and teacher I am committed to be. I will be here when the trend is over, because my medicine lives in my marrow.

So let’s highlight the true spiritual teachers! The ones who have shifted your life, the ones who have gone into the fire, who don’t fear the dark because they know the power lives in the light they carry.
