11 Spiritual Messages Your Emotions Are Trying To Tell You


The concept that spiritual messages come through your emotions is a profound aspect of my spiritual work.


I believe that your emotional experiences are not just reactions to your external circumstances, but actually carry deeper insights and guidance from an unseen spiritual consciousness.

 

It is absolutely up to you whether you believe this or not, however I have found that understanding these messages can lead to greater self-awareness, spiritual growth, and alignment with your soul's purpose.

 

Emotions can serve as your compass, indicating when you are in harmony with your true self and when you are not. 


For example, feelings of peace, joy, and love might indicate that you are aligned with your highest good, living authentically, or following a path that is meant for you.

 

On the other hand, persistent feelings of unease, sadness, or anger can signal that something in your life is out of alignment with our spiritual well-being and soul purpose.

 



These emotions could be urging you to reflect, make changes, or release things that no longer serve you. To interpret these spiritual messages, it's important to have a personal practice of going within and doing self-reflection. 


This kind of introspection is the key to you connecting on a deeper level than before. By paying attention to your emotions without judgment, you can begin to understand their deeper meanings and the guidance that they are offering you. 

 

If you have been having an array of emotions lately and wonder what this could mean on a deeper level, I invite you to expand your awareness around what your soul may be trying to share with you through these very emotions. 


All it takes is your willingness and a journal to discover what this emotion MAY be trying to communicate to you.

 

I would like to lay out how simple this can be. 




Please grab your journal & answer these questions openly and honestly:


 

 

1.  What emotion are you feeling? 

 

Identify your emotion, how it feels inside of you and what story it is connected to. Write that all out.

 

 

2. Notice the part of your body the emotion is coming from.


Tune inward and see if you can find where this emotion is living inside of you. Sometimes, all you need to do is FEEL what you are feeling, so the emotion can move. It doesn’t always need an explanation, a big long story, it just needs to be felt and moved through.


Other times, it will be imperative that you do the deeper digging to understand the story and its attachment to your beliefs. 


 

3. Ask yourself what "story" this emotion is connected to?


Allow yourself to write freely here. What memories come up, how is the emotion connected? Just look around in this space and see what you find.



4.  Use the chart to unlock the spaces that you may need to look into more deeply.


As you are doing this deeper work, please use this chart to explore areas in your life.



Fear

You're being challenged to grow.

Bitterness

There is a deeper lesson for you to understand.

Resentment

You need to work on transmuting your victim mentality.

Discomfort

This is an opportunity for you to shift your focus.

Anger

You need to tap into your repressed hurt

Disappointment

You need to let go of expectations.

Guilt

You're stuck in a shame/blame cycle.

Shame

You need to connect with your self-worth.

Regret

There's an opportunity to learn a lesson.

Anxiety

You need to connect spiritually. 

Sadness

You need to pay attention to what's hurting.




The journey to understanding the spiritual messages in your emotions is deeply personal and can vary greatly from one individual to another.


While some of these may be on point for you, some may not as well, and both are ok.


This journey to connecting meaning to your emotions requires patience, openness, and a willingness to explore the depths of your inner domain and the fact that you are reading this shows that this inner work is meant for you.


So I just want to remind you that - You can heal anything. And I mean anything. Whether it is trauma, self attack, addictions, anxiety, mistrust, or whatever deep dark wound you’ve been carrying, it can be totally healed!
